Nomad2000 offers an online bicycle, survival, sailing and team bulding booking system through our own website as well as through other online platforms such as partners’ websites and social media. Your privacy is important to us and we really mean it. We always act in our customers’ interest and we are clear and transparent about our process of your personal data and here we describe how we use and process your personal data. 

We might amend the Privacy Policy from time to time, if you do care visit this page regularly and you’ll know exactly where you stand. If we make changes to the Privacy Statement which will have an impact on you (for example such as GDPR), we will notify you of these changes before the new activities begin. Sad but important: If you disagree with our Privacy Policy, you should stop using our services.

What kind of personal data does Nomad2000 collect? 

Your personal data is collected either via our reservation forms, inquiry forms, when you register for your Nomad2000 account, when you browse our sites or when you send us an email with your information. No matter on which device the data is collected, mandatory fields are indicated in the forms. If you do not wish to provide such information, you will not be able to access certain services or features of our websites. In addition, you may not be allowed purchase products or services through our websites.

Through the reservation process we collect your name, address, contact details (email, phone number), payment type and any other important information regarding your holiday (for example your arrival time).

Depending on the reservation, we may also ask for your name, surname, gender, address, country, nationality, ID or Passport number, date of birth, place of birth, email, telephone number, payment information, flight number and the same information from the guests that are coming with you. The customer is responsible for informing all the guests travelling with him about the personal data.

You can also be asked to provide a review to help other guests get exactly what they’re looking for. We will collect information from you included in your reviews, including your name and content of your review.

In addition to this, we also collect information from your computer, phone, tablet or other device you are using to access our services. This can include the IP address, the browser you use, device you use and your language settings. This can help us optimize the website, so you can find the best offers easily.


FOR WHAT PURPOSE IS PERSONAL DATA COLLECTED?

Nomad2000 aims to collect and process only Personal Data which is adequate, relevant and not excessive in relation to the purposes for which it is collected. Your Personal Data is collected and used to access the features and services offered on our websites and maintain current, correct and relevant information about you, to meet one or more of the following purposes: 

  1. Respond to your reservations, inquiries or contact to rent a boat, book a cruise or more widely benefit from our services.
  2. Allow you to create and use your Nomad2000 account
  3. Offer to respond to surveys that will allow us to improve and adapt our products and services
  4. Allow you to make an online booking of the yacht
  5. Offer you promotions or special offers that may interest you in our marketing operations
  6. To show you the most appropriate offer for you through our website

We want you to have a smooth holiday, so when you use Nomad2000 we make sure we understand how we might contact you or how can we help by making sure your holiday will be well planned.

We also collect your information understanding which language you speak and what’s the best way of contacting you. We collect data for marketing, where we want to show our offer as relevant for you as possible or keep you updated with the best deals.

We might need to disclose personal data with Competent authorities, to law enforcement authorities as it is required by law or is strictly necessary for the prevention, detection or prosecution of criminal acts or fraud or if we are otherwise legally obliged to do so. We never sell or rent your data to anyone else. 


Nomad2000 SECURITY AND CONFIDENTIALITY

Nomad2000 will keep your personal data in a secure environment for the time necessary to achieve the purposes for which they were collected or during the minimum retention period provided by the applicable legislation, particularly in civil and commercial matters.

We also use security procedures and technical and physical restrictions for accessing and using the personal data on our servers. Only authorized personnel are permitted to access personal data during their work.

your personal identity, by indicating your complete name and the email address you used to purchase or create an account the right or rights you are exercising.

The exercise of these rights is free of charge, unless you make unjustified or excessive requests. In this case, we will be entitled to charge you with a reasonable fee based on administrative costs.


HOW DOES Nomad2000 PROCESS COMMUNICATIONS WITH OTHER PARTIES?

We will retain your personal data for as long as we think it necessary to enable you to use our services, to provide our services to you (including maintaining the online user account, to comply with applicable laws, resolve disputes with any parties and otherwise as necessary to allow us to conduct our business).
